HOGI Vertical Seam Welding Machine TIG System
The square-round integrated vertical seam automatic welding machine is a high-quality, efficient, and distortion-free universal automatic welding equipment for thin-walled pipes, square, and round straight seam welding. It delivers premium welds on carbon steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, and other materials. Optional welding power sources—including TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and CO2 welding,Laser welding—can be integrated to form a complete vertical seam automatic welding system.
Main features of the vertical straight seam welding machine:
1. It can weld both circular and square seams with a single machine.
2. The mandrel mold can automatically switch and rotate, eliminating the need to change molds for different shapes (square or round).
3. It allows for large processing diameters, no longer limited by the height of the equipment.
Equipment Operation Procedure:
First, set the actual welding length on the touchscreen display. The length set on the touchscreen and the actual motor travel length must have an error margin within 0.2 mm. Press the foot switch to lower the straight seam welding spindle to the welding position. Manually install the workpiece on the left side, ensuring the front and rear edges are flush against the spindle’s center locating pins. After visual confirmation, press the foot switch to lower the left clamping plate and secure the left side of the workpiece.
After visually confirming the left side is secured, press the foot switch again. to press down the right clamping plate and secure the workpiece. After securing the right side, visually inspect again for gaps or other issues. Once the workpiece is properly installed, press the welding start button. The servo motor drives the ball screw to advance at the speed set on the touch display and perform welding. Upon reaching the required weld length, the argon arc welder stops. The servo motor rapidly resets, simultaneously retracting the left and right workpiece clamping cylinders. The welding spindle retracts upward. Remove the workpiece and proceed to weld the next piece in sequence.
