HOGI pipe flanging machine is a specialized piece of industrial metal-forming equipment used to bend, flare, or roll the end of a pipe outward to create a 90-degree collar or flange directly from the pipe material itself. 
By mechanically creating a built-in flange (often called a Van Stone or loose flange connection), these machines allow operators to use loose backup flanges for bolt-up without the need for expensive, time-consuming weld-neck flanges. 

Flanging machines in the ventilation fan industry are designed for large-diameter, thick-walled circular or rectangular ducts and fan housings. Their primary purpose is to directly flange right-angle edges along the duct’s perimeter for connecting to flanges or for direct riveting.

In the ventilation industry, based on the shape and structure of the ductwork, these machines are primarily divided into two major categories:
1. Flanging machines for round ducts/fan housings (most common)
Mainly used for end processing of round spiral ducts, straight-seam welded ducts, and axial fan housings.
Working Principle: The cylindrical duct is placed over the machine’s lower roller, while the upper roller, driven by a hydraulic or mechanical system, presses against the sheet metal. As the rollers rotate, the edge of the cylinder is gradually rolled outward and bent 90 degrees.
Dual Functionality: Many high-end models not only perform flanging but also simultaneously create rings or ribs to enhance the structural strength of thin-walled ducts.
2. Rectangular Duct Co-Plate Flange Flanging Machine
Used for flanging rectangular (square) ventilation ducts.
Working Principle: For rectangular ducts that have already been seamed, specialized tracks or rollers are used to fold all four edges outward to form 90-degree straight edges. This machine is typically used in conjunction with the co-plate flange (TDF/TDC) process to secure the flange into the corner brackets.
